About the Clinic

I started Gosport Physiotherapy clinic to provide excellent local care for patients in the private sector. I pride myself on honest straight forward physiotherapy with a thorough assessment and diagnosis of not only what's causing the pain but also the underlying cause if there is one. I have a strong evidenced based practice, using good research to guide my assessment & treatment techniques, giving you the best rehabilitation possible.

Current research tells us that the more we educate and get clients involved in the rehabilitation process the better the outcomes of treatment. I put a strong emphasis on empowering my clients to deal with pain and injury confidently and effectively with a view to reduce the need for multiple appointments.

I have flexible appointment times to fit in with busy schedules including early mornings and evenings.
I teach regular Pilates classes and work as a Senior Physiotherapist in NHS giving me strong links with local services if I need to communicate with them on your behalf.
About the Physio

Upon graduating from Brighton University in 2011 I started my junior rotations working in various specialities including orthopaedics, hydrotherapy, rhumatology and musculoskeletal outpatients. Upon graduating I also trained to become a Pilates instructor training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute. I am also Yoga instructor achieving my 200 teaching certificate with CAM Yoga . In 2013 I qualified in the use of Acupuncture. After my junior rotations within the NHS I spent 2 years working in the private sector before joining the Musculoskeletal team at Gosport War Memorial Hospital as a Senior Physiotherapist. I have been teaching regular Yoga and Pilates classes at St Vincent college in Gosport since 2013.
I have recently been promoted in my NHS role to work in local GP practices to take some of the workload off of the GP's, ensuring patients are seen by the right person at the right time.
I am passionate about human movement with interests in gymnastic strength training, weightlifting, basketball, swimming and all forms of movement!
More recently I have achieved funding for an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice at Bournemouth University starting in September 2020.
